In my post “Why Bonnie should win…” I told the tale of Bonnie and I attending Blog World Expo last year for the first time. We attended seminars and the exhibits throughout the conference. We didn’t play hooky to see the town or gamble as it was so exciting to be there.
There were a lot of things I didn’t understand and needed a glossary of terms to get me through a lot of the seminars, but after a year of working with the new social media I have learned a lot. SO, this year I can really enjoy the conference because I have a better understanding of the lingo.
This past year I’ve spend many hours and hours learning, reading, testing, writing, and spending money on learning how this all works. Now I think I’m ready to move forward. So, as part of that process attendance at this year’s Blog World Expo is really an important next step. I know there is still so much more to learn and now I can get into the details!!
So, John Chow, I think I also deserve a ticket to this year’s Blog World Expo to continue to grow in this New Social Media world!!

Good day! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are
you using for this website? I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
This website is using WordPress with the Akismet plugin catching most spam, etc. and iThemes. Another platform we use, especially if you are selling something, is Magento. So far we have had good response using this platform and once you learn it, it’s pretty easy to set up a new site.
